ShowerUp on Monday Nights
If you would like to join us for an event, you are invited to come to the War Memorial Plaza at Capital and Union in downtown Nashville, Monday evenings from 6-8:30pm. 
You can come to help or just come to see what it's all about. We would love to meet you!

Specific Ways You Can HelpThings you can bring if you would like...

• Cold bottled water
• Toiletry items - we are especially in need of deodorant, shower puffs, shower gel, shaving cream, and toothpaste
• Cleaning supplies -  every shower gets cleaned after every use, so if you wanted to bring cleaning supplies to clean a shower that would be great!
• Towels - CLEAN, good, used towels

Things you can do when you join us...
We have a variety of jobs that require no experience or special skills.

• Shower Cleaning - every shower gets cleaned after every use. Because the shower suites are fairly small, it's usually quick and easy.
• Towel Host - make sure that everyone gets a towel and that towels are collected after use.
• Clothing - we have some clothing that we can help people with.
• Scheduling - during the event, we sign people up and assign them a shower when one becomes available.
• Mechanical - help to make sure that all mechanical systems are running as they should be (requires some training)
• Friend - talk to, love on, and serve our homeless friends in whatever way you can.

If you're not sure what you would like to do or just want to come and hang out with our homeless friends getting to know them, loving on them, and caring for them...AWESOME! That's everyone's job and there's never too many people to serve in that way!

Where to park when you come...(See Map Below)
Parking downtown is always challenging. While we will be set up on Union, we would ask that you park on 7th just past Charlotte, between the Capital and the State Library/Supreme Court buildings. (We partner with our friends, People Loving Nashville on Monday nights and they also set up and deliver on Union so we want to be sure there is plenty of room for them!)
